This piano was professionally refurbished in Japan and is in like new condition. The YUX model was made in Japan from 1980-1984. The "YU" in the model name means that this series was hand finished and the "X" refers to the X-shaped soundboard supports behind the piano. The YUX is considered to be a step up from the Yamaha U3.
